Are Elevated AST And ALT Levels A Cause For Concern?
Hi Doctor, I am a 32 yr old female. Non alcoholic. I have consumed many otc medicines for menstrual pain. I had lab report today and I can see this: Total Bilirubin Alkaline Phosphatase 65 IU/L AST (SGOT) 88 IU/L ALT 38 IU/L I can see that AST and ALT are elevated. Is it too very much to be worried? Is this fatty liver? Can this be treated? I am worried.
Hello dear thanks for providing your lab test result yes elevated AST and ALT deserve to be worried I am suggesting that you have hepatitis this might be from the medication you are taken for menstrual pain at the moment please minimize the menstrual drugs take capsule livolin take oral glucosemultivitamin capsules
