Are Enlarged Ovaries With Multiple Peripherally Studded Follicles As Per This Ultrasound Report A Problem?

Right ovary measures 3.9*2.7*1.6. Volume 9.1cc Left ovary 4.1*3.1*2. Vol-14.7. Both ovaries appear to be enlarged. Multiple peripherally studded follicles less than 1cm noted in both ovaries. Echogenic stroma noted in both ovaries. Minimal free fluid noted in POD and adnexae

Hello,

There is small cyst in the ovaries. Consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated. We have to rule out possible causes like PCOS.
