Are Fatigue, frequent Urination And Lower Abdominal Cramp A Pregnancy Associated Symptom?
i am a 30 yr old married woman, the first day of my last period was 15th dec 2013.over the last week i have feeling very tired, feeling sleepy, urinating frequently, have light cramps in the lower abdominal area. I did a HPT in the morning it turned out negative. I went to a gynaecologist, she did a scan and said that there is no sac, but thickened endometrium of 11.2 mm, she asked me to carry out a serum HCG test. could i be preganant ?
Hello and welcome to HCM, A negative pregnancy test rules out pregnancy for all practical purposes. The symptoms of tiredness, feeling sleepy, frequent urination and light cramps are not suggestive of pregnancy. Frequent urination usually occurs in urinary tract infection. Cramps can occur before the onset of menstrual cycles. Feeling tired and sleepy can occur due to weakness. low hemoglobin etc. Get a complete hemogram to estimate the level of hemoglobin. If hemoglobin is low, further investigations to know the cause of low hemoglobin need to be done. A urine examination needs to be done to look for any evidence of infection.
