Are Fever Lumps On The Body Of A Child A Cause For Concern?
Hello, my 11 year old son has a severe sore throat. It has been 2 days now... Since this morning, He now has numerous tiny fever bumps on his body: face, ears, neck, stomach and back... Is it time to visit a doctor? Will the fever bumps go away on their own?
Understanding your concern. As per your query your child have symptoms of fever lumps on the body which could be due to bacterial/ viral infection and due to underlying medical condition. It could be due to poor immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take combination of Ibuprofen and Tylenol as it is safe combination and you can take that for your present condition. Don't combine any medication like Aspirin, Naproxen with this combination at-least 8-12 hours of each other as it will cause GI bleed symptoms and ulceration. You should do tepid sponging as well. Take diet rich in multivitamins, fruits and take multivitamin tablet as well to boost body immunity. Drink plenty of water to rehydrate yourself.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
