Are Frequent Urination And Abdominal Pain Signs Of UTI?

I just got off my period like a week ago, and for the past couple days I ve been having lower belly pain and I pee very frequently. I feel as if I m having a hard time emptying my bladder and every time I urinate, it s a little painful and I see a streak of light blood when wiping. Do I have a UTI?

Hello dear
Understand your concern
Yes abdominal pain and painful urination most likely suggestive of urinary tract infection, kidney/ureteric stone and vaginal infection.
I will manage this type of case as below:
First go for following investigations:
1. Urine routine, microscopic and culture to identify the Urinary tract infection-
It should be treated by septran, pyridium, nitrozolium and syrup cidal. Drink plenty of fluids and juice of cranberry. Maintain proper pelvic hygiene by using V vaginal plus wash
2. Usg scan should be done to identifies Kidney/ureteric stone:
Minor stone should be excreted in urine by giving diuretics. Large stone require lithotripsy and surgery.
3. Vaginal swab test should be done to diagnose vaginal infections. It should be treated by proper antibiotic.

So consult the gynecologist and get the treatment.
Hope this may help you
Best regards
