Are Hair Fall And Itchy Scalp Symptoms Of Alopecia?

in the past 3 months my hair has been falling out and now I have bald patches, mainly on the top of my head. My scalp itches and it is very tender as well. I have Lupus , Fibromyalgia, Raynaud s syndrome, Crest syndrome and several other auto immune disorders! Could this be Alopecia?

Hair fall and itchy scalp are symptoms of Alopecia and most probable cause in your case seems to be due to autoimmune disorders you are having. I would suggest you to

- Take Minoxidil and Finasteride for hair loss.

- Do oiling of scalp regularly to avoid dandruff.

- Try to reduce your stress and drink plenty of water.

- Avoid taking oily, fried and spicy food.

- Take diet rich in Vitamin A and E supplements.

Consult dermatologist once and get it examined. Start treatment after proper prescription.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
