Are Hand Tremors, Extreme Hunger And Weight Gain Signs Of Thyroid Problems?

i am male 22 years weighing 55kgs, height 175cm, I recently had a thyroid test. I referred that report to a doctor who says that the report is normal, but i have some symptoms that contradict that like tremors in hand and body, extreme hunger with less or no weight gain, depression, very less immunity, fatigue.

Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello
I have gone through your question and understood your concern.

Tremor, increased appetite with no weight gain, fatigue are all signs and symptoms of hyperthyroidism.

You're right, your symptoms contadict your thyroid test results.

In your case i suggest to repeat the thyroid function tests TSH, fT3 and fT4 in another lab and to do an untrasound of the thyroid to see the structure of the thyroid gland. In some cases Iodine thyroid scan ca be helpful.

These tests can give all the necessary information and can confirm or rule out the diagnosis of hyperthyroidism.

My advice for you is to contact a local endocrinologist and discuss with him all you symptoms and if you need to do further tests.

Hope i have answered to your questions.
If you have other queries, feel free and ask.I will be happy to help.
Regards.
