Are Headache, Back Ache, Acne, Breast Pain, Mood Swings And Abdominal Pain During IUI Treatment A Concern?
Iui done past 13 days iam using Progesterone medicine. Head ache, back pain, pimple, breast pain, mood swings ,some times getting pain like when get period. But still I didn t pregnancy test because my period date still 2 days is there pls advise me. Thank you.
During IUI treatment the level of progesterone, estrogen and HCG increase after implantation. The hormonal changes cause mood swings. It can make you feel upset, stressed along with other uncomfortable symptoms. Such symptoms can continue while you are being treated. You are suggested to get clinically examined by your treating doctor to study the failure or success of IUI implantation.
Do not delay in reporting your symptoms to your treating doctor. Stay at rest but do mild exercises. Take home-made food. You will be given symptomatic treatment,
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
