Are Headache, Fever And Stiff Neck Symptoms Of Lyme Disease?
stiff neck, fever, headache, when to clinic, sent to ER for a spinal tap, came back negative (while waiting one hour) had blood drawn to find out what infection it could be. I live in Colorado but was in Philadelphia area over memorial day weekend. just told to take Tylenol and ibuprofen for headache until results. still not feeling good, have headache, but they said I could get that from the spinal tap. could it be lyme disease. I did not have any rash. I just started a job a week ago and cant afford to miss any more days. what other diseases could they be looking at. thank you

Yes, this could indicate Lyme's and your need blood work to check for Lyme antibodies, but you also need an MRI of the brain to check for a bleed or a tumor, and I would also check you for other infections like viral meningitis
