Are Headaches And Nausea Post Injury At The Temple Symptoms Of A Concussion?

My 3 year old flipping in bed and accidentally kicked me in my left temple close to my left eye. I saw a bright light on impact. My left eye started to twitch and I have a slight headache. The twitch is on the bottom of the left eye. I am also feeling kind of nauseous. Can I have a concussion?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It can be a sign of a concussion.

If symptoms persist better to consult a neurologist and plan for a repeat CT head.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
