Are Headaches And Sleeping Problems Post Mild Concussion A Cause For Concern?
Hello, I have been diagnosed with a mild concussion I caught 6 days ago. I banged my head against concrete ceiling. I only saw a doctor two days ago as my symptoms had deteriorated because i just had continued normal activities two days after, writing my thesis, watching tv etc... which i regret now. My doctor prescribed me absolute rest at least for a few more days however I have difficulty sleeping and resting the whole day. I still have some over-the-counter sleeping pills at home I rarely use, it s called Nustasium. I was thinking it might help me out giving my brains the rest they need and helping me sleeping/staying put all day. Would you recommend this or is this a bad idea which could aggravate my condition? I still have a heavy head and headaches at the time of writing. Thank you in advance, Joris.
