Are Herbal Supplements Effective In Treating Psoriatic Arthritis?
I have psoriatic arthtritis. I see a rheumatologist. She is great. She treats me with Humira.methotrexate,mobic 15 mg daily and prednisone as needed. My friend tellme to just try Tumeric pills. I see it has curcumin which is a cox two inhibitor. They say its natural . I am curious ,but skeptical as these herbal supplements can have serious sude effects. Do you feel tumeric is safe?

Psoriatic arthritis is linked to systemic inflammation, and turmeric has been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect on the body.
In my opinion, it can be taken as a supplement and it can be effective in relieving the inflammation.
