Are Hot Flushes Normal Post Having Cortisone And Steroid Injections?

i received a cortizone and a steriod injection in June for a shoulder injury.. I have been having really wet hot flashes since. I am 70 years old and had a complete hysterectomy in 86. Is this normal? If so, how long should I expect to have hot flashes?

Hi.

I would not exactly say that this is normal, and so I would first recommend a female hormone panel because your age could possibly bring on post-menopausal symptims which could have been triggerred by the steroid shots, so ruling that out first would be mandatory and from there on it shouldn't be difficult to help you, so please do consult your gynecologist first.
