Are Hypersomnia, Blurred Vision And Balance Issues Normal After Cataract Surgery?

My husband (age74) had cataract surgery, one week ago. (cataract removed and new lens implanted) Not in pain or on meds except for a rigorous eye drop routine. His behavior is just not quite himself. Sleeps more than usual. Seems a bit in a fog. His hearing is not good (no hearing aids yet), and he is diabetic. His balance is off just a bit more than usual. Seems a bit confused at times, and at other times is perfectly fine. He was anesthetized with verset and another relaxing drug. Scheduled for other eye day after tomorrow. I am wondering if that is too soon. Alergic to the anesthesia? Symptoms? I am concerned.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if you think that the symptoms that your husband has got it due to the anesthesia given for cataract surgery then it is not the case but it could be just functional condition and it may be due to the age, hope this information helps.
