Are Internal Shingles With No External Breakouts Contagious?

Hi. I have internal shingles? According to what I am reading there is a chance that I won t feel better for a long time. I have grand and great grand children. Am I contagious to them. This is going on my fourth week. My skin is sensitive but no external break outs.

shinghels only contagious when their is rash on body which come in direct contact to person who is not exposed to virus earlier and.. it can cause chicken pox to them.. but if shingles without external rash.. than it is not contagious.. but it's is better to avoid your contact with those who never before exposed to this virus and also away from pregnant ladies for safe point of view
