Are Irregular Menstrual Periods And Infertility Related To Hormonal Imbalances?
Hae doctor, am 33yrs, married for five years now, no child... I ve gone for ultra sound, my doc said that am having a hormonal imbalances problem, how can you advice me, my periods are irregular, which infertility drugs am I supposed to take? Please advice me, I really am in need of a child
Menstrual irregularities and infertility are very commonly caused due to hormonal imbalance and sometimes due to structural issues. As your doctor said in your case its the hormonal issue, so this is usually treated with medicines that help to balance the hormones as well as help to regulate menstrual cycles. Your doctor is aware of your current condition so it is better to follow his advice regarding medication as many factors are considered before prescribing any medication to get maximum benefit and minimum adverse effects.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
