Are Irregular Periods Normal In A Teenager?

Hi my question related to my daughter she is 17 years old now , she had absent period more than 9 month now we already visit doctor all blood test normal , she is very normal she didn t have any medical condition. doctor said just wait , I don t know what should I do ? and what is the problem she have please help me . she didn t have any sexual activity as well.

Hello,

Slight irregularities quite common in adolescent girls. Generally, it will settle with time. If periods persistently irregular better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated to rule out possibilities like PCOS.
