Are Joint Pain With Fever A Side Effect Of Omnacortil?

Hi, This is Prafull. My mother was taking Omnacortil 5 mg per day for last one year for Rheumatoid Arthritis. For last month the doctor suddenly increased the does to 15mg per day which results into hampering kidney and trouble to breath (After this only we came to know that Omnacortil contains steroid). Now, from last two week she has stopped taking Omnacortil and her condition is much better now but now she is getting chill with fever, extreme pain in joints and muscles, dry mouth etc. Are this signals after effects of Omnacortil and if yes how to overcome all this. Please suggest.
