Are Lower Abdominal Pain And Lower Back Pain A Sign Of Kidney Stones?

My husband is having severe lower abdominal pain which then becomes pain in the lower back. He has had some nausea and shaking and chills. Tylenol extra strength or Ibuprofen extra strength relieve the pain for several hours or even a day. Could he be having kidney stones?

Hello,

You have to rule out stone in the kidney or any infection, if present.

For that, I suggest you investigate with urine routine microscopic examination, USG scan abdomen and pelvis and CBC.

You can revert back with reports once done.
