Are Migraines Associated With Fibromyalgia?

I was wondering if migraines are typical or associated with Fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in the past month and I ve had a migraine for the past week tomorrow, and I ve been to the emergency room and under the care of my GP, but I wonder if it s related to fybromialgia. Thanks, Sylvia Dana

No. It isn't related to Fibromyelgia. Both the diseases have different criteria of diagnosis, different causes, different treatment options.
