Are Mood Swings And Tender Breasts Signs Of Pregnancy?

hi i am worried i might be pregnant had the rod fitted a year a go past two months had bledding in these two months my moods have been awful and my boobs feel hard and nearly every morning i feel groggy like a hang over even when i dont drink could i be pregnant?

Hallow Dear,

Since you have got the contraceptive 'rod' fitted, you are fairly well protected against the pregnancy. If you have not missed the periods, you need not consider the possibility of pregnancy.

The 'rod' you are having contains Progesterone which is known to cause breast engorgement and tenderness. Also it causes mood changes. Some salt restriction may give you relief from the breast symptoms.
