Hi I m currently diagnosed with herpangina by my doctor, with symptoms such as ulcers in my throat, tongue and mouth and also the sores on my anus. I had a fever for 2 days and I m glad it s gone. I just want to be clear that this is not the HPV/HIV that I m dealing with???

If you have any possible exposure to HIV then you need to think interms of HIV.HPV occurs on direct contact.and its a lesion on the skin.Sore in anal region if its been diagnosed as herpes zoster then get evaluated for possible other causes including HIV.Consider correctness of HIV/HSV/HPV all are different diseases associated with HIV but not necessary to be HIV positive.Check for reasons that you considering for HIV infection. In general population fever it self can cause ulcers in mouth.Consult general physician first then you may visit integrated counciling and testing center for needfull.Regards.
