Are Muscle Fatigue And Skin Tenderness Common Side Effects Of Antibiotics?
I have been taking AmoxClav to combat a sinus infection. It seams to have cleared the infection but I have been experiencing muscle fatigue and skin tenderness along with some back pain. Is these normal side affects? I have finished my 10 day prescription I also take a host of other blood pressure and Cholersterol drugs as well.

Hi,
The cholesterol lowering drugs appear to be responsible for muscle fatigue and skin tenderness. You must consult your treating doctor for an alternate effective but a safer medicine like colesevelam or ezetemibe for the control of cholesterol without causing above mentioned side effects. Amox-Clav is not known to cause those side effects cited above.
