Are Muscle Pain, Profuse Sweating And Itchy Pimples On The Hands Signs Of HIV?
Hello , I have a problem .Two months ago I had a sexual contact with a gay man that I suspect he has AIDS.He gave me a felatio without condom and then I penetrated him with condom.3 days and a half later I had painful lymph nodes on my face and neck that lasted 8 days , isolated lymph node behind my year , and in my groin. Also I had Swetting for a couple of nights, muscle pain in the legs and since then a little prurigo on my hands and neck , that I have from time to time before not sure if its allergy or due to other viral infections but apparently it didnt last that long.Do you think Im infected? What are the chances ?Thank you
Hi, You had protected anal sex and unprotected oral sex. Oral sex carries a low risk for HIV transmission when compared to unprotected anal and vaginal sex as per CDC, Atlanta, USA. Only with symptoms alone it is very difficult to predict HIV infection. Only with HIV test after thew window period one can be labeled as infected with HIV. Dr S.Murugan
