Are My Weight Loss, Abdominal Pain, And Bowel Issues Related To My Prior Hernia Repair, And Is It Safe To Proceed With A Colonoscopy?

Hi, I am male, 63 yrs old. Had hernia mesh repair approx 1.2 yrs ago (Rt lower abdomen). Over the last 6mo I have lost approx 20-25 lbs with no change in diet or exercise. Other symptoms are much gurgling, feeling the need for bowel movement but unable to go, also intermittent pain lower rt abdomen. I have scheduled abdominal CT scan this week and colonoscopy 2 days later.
Are these symptoms of Hernia and is it safe to have the colonoscopy or should I cancel. Is the hernia a concern when having colonoscopy?
