Are Nausea, Burning Eyes And Headache While Having Epilepsy A Cause For Concern?
Hello doctor! I am Riya. I am your patient.U have through many tests confirmed that I am having epilepsy problem from 2014 and prescribed me a tablet selzic-od 150 mg. But,from last 3 months d tablets are not available in the market.But tablets with same name and higher doses of 300mg are available.And,I have to come in your for reassessment in next month.And sir,I am having exams these days.But nowadays I feel so weak and getting nausea,eyes burn,headache and old.Can u please recommend me something to avoid all these for just a month.Is it a sign of danger?Should I come to your clinic within this month?Its all because of my NEET exam I am avoiding to come there..Sir,please help me. Thank you.
As per my clinical experience, the burning eyes, headache and nausea are in concern with changes in neurotransmitter levels due to alteration of drug dosage. You must take tablet of 300 mg half broken to adjust to 150 mg of previous dose. Additionally, intake of ondancetron (4 mg) on empty stomach, paracetamol (500 mg) after meals for a period of 2-3 days will take care of current symptoms.
