Are Night Leg Cramps And Joint Pain Side Effects Of Glucosamine?

I have been taking Glucosamine, 2000mg tablet, two per day for six weeks. Wanted to relieve pain in the knees. I now have more knee pain, nightly leg and foot cramps. Also problem with balance and frequent constipation, possibly not related to this supplement. Could these be side effects?

It is not related to glucosamine. If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
