Are Omega-3 Fish Oil Supplements Safe From Mercury Contamination?

Watching The Doctor Oz show about mercury in fish I see fresh salmon is on the top of the list of safe to eat. What about canned salmon?

More importantly since omega-3 fish oil supplements come from fish how safe are they from mercury contamination?

HI
Well come to HCM
Mercury is metal and this is not good for health, any fish if contaminated with the mercury poison then this should never be eaten, as long as the fish canned is concern better to avoid this too if possible and always try to have the fresh healthy fish, take care.
