Are Persistent Abdominal Problems With Blood In Stools Suggestive Of IBD?
Hi, I ve been having problems with my bowels for many months, usually just some constipation and severe abdominal pain but the other day I expierenced watery diarrhoea for about 3 days with some blood and mucus in it. The diarrhoea has since cleared up itself but I m still feeling tired, nauseous with some pain in my stomach still. I was originally diagnosed with ibs but my doctor has referred me for a colonoscopy. I was just wondering if this does sound like ibd instead of ibs as my symptoms have been mild to severe and have been coming and going? Thank you.
