Are Polyps In Colon Malignant?

Yes today I tooka colonoscopy and they fine a nodule with 3 polyps. Now ive had the p;oyphs before but not the nodule. THE SPECIALIST SAID IT DID NOT LOOK SUSPICIOUS AND IT WAS SENT OFF TO BE DIANOSED, I CANT HELP BUT WORRY. NO HISTORY OF THIS IN MY FAMILY COLIN CANCER.sO WHAT SHOULD I THINK THANKS

Hi, Solitary polyp is a normal non cancerous structure in colon. Multiple polyps are considered as prone to cancer formation. It is better to have a biopsy for atypical cells if any. In any case it would be better to get them removed.
