Are Prednisone And Flovent Causing Headaches In An Asthma Patient?

Hi. My daughter is 15 and has asthma. She recently had an overnight stay in the hospital for an attack. She had a week s treatment of Prednisone and has started on Flovent. For the past 5 days, she has been complaining of headaches. Could this be a side effect or something else? Nevermind. I see this costs money. I ll just call her doctor.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Headache is a possible side effect of prednisone so it is possible that it is related to this.

If the headaches are severe or associated with any other concerning symptoms then she should see her doctor for assessment.

I hope this helps
