Are Purple Spots In Vision While On Limictol Normal?

My wife just started on Limictol for bod a week ago. She s feeling great but is in class right now and for the second day in a row she is seeing purple spots. Is this a common side effect? She is also taking Lexa pro for depression. Can you help please? Zach

Hi,

I cannot say in your particular case, but generally, Lamictal decreases spots (such as with migraines). There are a lot of conditions that can do this and a co-incidence would be a high likelihood. It is very unlikely for a medication to do that permanently so a medicine could be stopped to see if the symptoms are only there when the medicine is.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank you.

Regards,
