i am married in the month of feb 2011..and trying to conceive..doctor advise to go for semen analysis..my report is as follows:
Semen Routine Examination
Physical Examination Volume 2 ml pH 8.0
Microscopic Examination Blood Nil Pus Cells 1-3/HPF Erythrocytes Nil
Motility Active After 30 Minutes 40% 30% 30% After 2 Hours 30% 30% 40% Abnormal Head Forms Within normal limits Total Sperm Count 70 Million/ml
Please advise me about the chances of my wife conceiving

Ph of your semen is higher indicate infection. also there should not be any pus cells in the semen but you have 1-3/hpf so indicate infection. also motility is reduced, there should be motile sperm more thant 50% after 3 hours. rest of the thing are normal. so from the report you should go to treat the infection. take the broad spectrum antibiotics that covers both gram negative and gram positive bacteria like co amoxyclav, pip taz injection. consult your nearby doctor and than start the treatment. because detail case history is very important for treatment part.
