hyperthyroidism? My bpm heart rate up to 191 while exercising, puffy ankles, tired, gaining weight, hair changes, occasional shocks like nerve zaps , slight numbness in left thumb and weakness in left arm while carrying purse on left arm for long periods, hot flashes, constant personal temperature fluctuation, heartburn almost every day, have allergies and hypoaldosteronism, am 54, 5 7 , normally 125, but put on 9 lb.s in the last 6 months despite exercising daily. Elliptical showed my bpm was abnormally high for some time, but I thought it was poorly calibrated. On vacation using different machines, it was actually higher. I have appt. with cardiac specialist tomorrow and endocrinologist on Monday. Should I work out, walk on the treadmill, drink more water? Thoughts?
