Are Recurring Hot Flashes After Menstruation One Of The Symptoms Of Menopause?

'I`m 47 1/2 and having been having hot flashes for years now. I had my period a few weeks ago and now a few days ago I started again. It lasted for about a day and a half, then stopped for the evening and started again in the morning. Is this normal process of menopause??'.
