Are Red Rashes On The Body A Symptom Of HIV Infection?
Recently my son had chicken pox and immediately he got well I started to notice rashes on my head, face and body. I had a deep kiss with a woman about 5 weeks before then. My rashes looked so different from that of my son. Some appear red and others black. Even when filled with fluid some still appeared dark. Could this be HIV rash?

Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. Siddartha's Response
Hello,
HIV won’t transmit through kisses unless one of positive person had extensive ulcers with high viral load.
Your son's rash might have contracted you. Rashes with vesicles occur in the body starting from red colour and changes to dark color.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
