Are Red Sores Around The Penis Possibly Due To Herpes?
My boyfriend shaved his pubic area and had redness where he shaved. A day later, red sores with a small dot of brown in the middle began showing up on his penis and above it. The sores are not pertulant or clustered. I have been tested 2 years ago and was negative for herpes type 1 and 2. I have never had an outbreak. Could this be herpes?

I really appreciate your concern, it is not the herpes but it more looks like allergic creation that commonly happens with the shaved areas and that can be managed with diphenhydramine lotion and this is nothing to worry hope this information your helps.
