Are Red Swollen Areas Under Both Armpits That Sting A Matter Of Concern?
63 y/o male with red swollen areas under both armpits. doesn t have the appearance of a rash. runs more like ripples horizontal across arm pits. no itching, just stings. also have been fatigued, and unable to get relief from resting, yard work, social occ. anything ring a bell?

I really appreciate your concern, such lesion or red area need to be ruled for viral infection and it can be herpes till then it can be managed with Diphenhydramine lotion, if the lesion not responds then it has to be seen with dermatologist, and ideally all the skin lesions demands the clinical examination hope this information helps.
