Are Regular Pregnancy Tests Helpful In Keeping Track Of Changes?

good day. i've undergone iui on last sept. 3, 2011. it was 7 days ago and i am so excited conceiving. i took pregnancy test last sept 8 and got 1 dark line and 1 pale line. i'm planning to take another test since i feel pulse beats on my lower abdomen. my period is supposed to be on the 16th of sept. will taking another test help me at least to know the day to day changes in me? thank you so much.
