Are Ringworms Spreading On The Body Curable?

I have 5 ringworms on myself. I went to my Dr a few days ago. And prescribe me 15mg of cream. When I went to see him I only had one. Also notice my dogs have them to. Am I going to be ok? Cam ringworms make you feel sick? Please help. Vicki Bozeman ❤

Hello,

Ringworms are generally local infection on the skin and do not cause you to feel sick. On the other hand because your dogs have them it may be an aggressive form or ringworm as the ones from the animals tend to be more aggressive and especially because they seem to increase in number you will need to go an talk again with your doctor and see the need to take oral antifungal treatment like fluconazole.

The dogs have to be treated as well so a vet has to see them and treat them appropriately as fungal infection from dogs can be very contagious.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
