Are Seizures Due To Concussion?

My mum has had a fall where she fell and banged her forehead on the floor which resulted in a large bump and bruise, she then has a extremely bad seizure 27 hrs later, she has had the seizures suppressed for 4 days in critical care unit with keppra, she has not responded to stimulation at all, not opened eyes and still has small jerky movements, Is this seizure directly related to the bang on her head. She has also had 2 stokes in the past year.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, head injury should never be taken as granted, if this is the internal bleeding (Brain hemorrhage ) then it might have gone into coma, CT brain and other test could be suggestive of this, you can discuss this with neuro, in head injury convulsion is the prime symptoms that indicates the brain tissue injury team hope this information helps
I find this answer helpful
