Are Seizures, Scoliosis And Inability To Walk And Talk In A Child Post Vagus Nerve Damage Curable?
My child s vagus nerve was damaged during a nissen procedure. Since then she has seizures, does not walk, does not talk, has delayed development, scoliosis, a trach, a feeding tube, etc etc etc. This happened when she was 2 yrs. old. She is now 8. Is there any hope?

Vagus nerve stimulation is available in a few hospitals. It will help to relieve few of these symptoms and nerve graft surgeries also are available. Consult a neurosurgeon pediatrician once.
