Are Sensitive Breasts Normal During A Sudden Menstrual Period After Menopause?

My breasts feel unusually sensitive. I thought I went through menopause over a year ago (56 years old), but recently had a period during a stressful time at work and have had unusually sensitive breasts since then over the past three weeks. Is this normal?

it is normal and only exclude malignancy by mammography. it is due to hormone imbalance. mastitis can be ruled out other wise such signs are common.
