Are Severe Abdominal Pain, Flatulence And Frequent Bowel Movements Signs Of Appendicitis?

My doctor treated my husband for diverticulitis, however his symptoms have gotten worse including severe abdominal pain. His pain in in the center lower portion of his abdomen. He gets some relief from passing gas and having a bowel movement. could this be appendicitis?

This is intestinal colic i would suggest you to take a opinion of a gasteroenterologist and get a colonoscpy done to know the reason for the colic
