Are Severe Cold, Sore Throat And Body Pains Symptoms Of HIV?

Hi,
I have a question which is bothering me from a month.
I had a oral sex ( Licked the Vagina ) with a lady I met in the bar. In a week I was also exposed to severe cold about -2 for a long day. In 2 weeks I had severe body paint and sore throat for 2 weeks. After that now its a month I am all good. No any other symptoms.
Am I infected by HIV.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that the symptoms of severe cold, sore throat and body pain are all symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection also known as Common cold or can be due to Influenza or flu..
Although these are also viral infections but are not indicative of HIV..
As you are alright now you need not to worry as it must be a regular viral infection..
In case if still there is any doubt you can consult an infectious medicine specialist and get evaluated and he can advise you blood tests to check for HIV, although it does not need to be necessarily happened..
To be on a safer side avoid direct genital contact with multiple partners and always take protection to avoid the risk of HIV...

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
