Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Are Severe Pain In Left Hip And Right Ankle Signs Of Immune Neuropathy?
I have been diagnosed with immune neuropathy but the further this goes on I m convinced it is Sjogren s Syndrome. I have another appointment with my neurologist mid October. I have not had any accidents but my left hip and right ankle are causing a lot of pain, especially my ankle. It feels as though I severely sprained it. Ibuprofen or Aleve are not giving any relief. Is there anything that will help until I can call my neurologist on Monday? I am only 47 years old and do not want to use a cane to go to church in the morning.
As first-line management, you can take drugs like Zolpidem for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
