i went to the er with shortness of breath pain in my back sholder jaw hypoklemia heavy inthe chess did a stress test i thought iwas having a heart atta ck dr. say everything fine she do not know why it beat so fast 130 her husband a doctor put me on medicine for afib before i started seeing her she kept me on metoloprol tat what u think

hi
yes ,shortness of breath,shoulder pain,hypo-kalaemia,dizziness,palpitations ,all these are signs of atrial fibrillation.
you have to correct your hypo-kalaemic states first.beta-blockers like metoprolol are very good to control the rate.
i suggest you to take a cardiologist opinion to rule out the reason for atrial fibrillation
if stress test was fine with all other cardiac evaluation,also being normal, then the reason is hypokalaemia for sure.
you should visit the ER check out & get corrected for the same
