Are Sinusitis And Ear Infection Symptoms Of Flu?

i went to the urgent care center for a sinus infection and had to go back and they told me i also have an ear infection-they cleaned out my ears and gave me prednisone and a 2nd antibiotic-amoxacillian-calv 825-125mg twice a day for 10 days, which i started today. This is the worst i have felt -could i have the flu? no temp 96.4- thank you YYYY@YYYY

Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I read your query and here is my answer.
your ear infection is due to your sinus infection which blocks your eustachian tube, hence leads to deposition of fluids in the ear, which then gets infected. As long as your fever is concerned, so it may be lower down because of your antibiotics which you have started. But you will feel like this for few days. So take complete bed rest, and drink plenty of fluids. This doesn't look like flu.
