Are Small Red Bumps Near The Stomach A Cause For Concern?

Hello and thank you for helping me. I have some small red bumps that seem to have slightly opened to the air. They do not itch, but they do feel sore to touch. They have collected in a small area near my stomach. The collection of bumps is not below my waist line. The group of bumps is about the size my palm. Should I be alarmed?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to contact dermatitis. I suggest you to use steroid cream for local application. If the symptoms continue you should do also physical examination at a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
