Are Sore Back And Sciatica Nerves Suggestive Of Pinched Nerve?

My back and sciatica nerves have been very sore for about 3 months now. My left leg has lost a lot of muscle tone, and sharp. Pain in the groin area after walking all day. I m a very active 61 year old female. Bike, speed walk, Harley rider, mow an acre of lawn and snowblower in the winter time. Does this sound like a pinched nerve?

Hi,

Yes, it could be. You should get examined and get a nerve conduction velocity done to rule it out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
